Notes

'Minus' thyme (Thymus praecox 'Minus') is a creeping perennial for rock gardens, containers, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy soil. Lilac pink flowers open from early to late summer and attract bees and butterflies. The evergreen leaves are fragrant. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Green Spice coral bells.
