Notes

'Miss Bateman' clematis (Clematis 'Miss Bateman') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Charles Noble bred it, and it has white blooms with red anthers. Plants reach 6 to 9 feet tall and belong to pruning group B1.

Pairs well with Iceberg rose, Skylark ceanothus, and Iris.
