Notes

'Miss Dainty' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Miss Dainty') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Myron D. Bigger bred it in 1948. The fragrant double flowers open white and shade to pale pink in late spring. The blooms are good size, and each one measures about 6½ inches across.

Pairs well with Orange daylily, Spanish bluebell, and Sensitive fern.
