Notes

'Miss Minneapolis' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Miss Minneapolis') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, full, rose-type blooms open pale pink in late spring. The stiff, upright stems hold the flowers well, so they work nicely indoors. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it.

Pairs well with Sensitive fern, Grape hyacinth, and Picture tulip.
