Notes

'Miss Sweden' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Miss Sweden') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Light pink double flowers open in early summer with a white center and yellow stamens. The blooms have a fresh fragrance, and strong stems hold them up well. Hermann Krupke bred it as a seedling of 'Miss America'.

Pairs well with Sedge, Picture tulip, and Sensitive fern.
