Notes
'Misty Mauves' larkspur (Delphinium 'Misty Mauves') is a perennial for borders and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The mauve to purple blooms open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Its tall stems reach 36 to 48 inches.
Pairs well with Karl Rosenfield peony, Star Gazer lily, and Sensation lilac.
