Notes

'Mo Lang' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Mo Lang') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Lianying Wang bred it, and it bears one semi-double, dark red flower per stem. The petals have brownish undertones, dark flares at the base, and deep ruffles. The blooms measure 6 to 7 inches across.

Pairs well with Endless Summer hydrangea, Cinnamon fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
