Notes

'Monow' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia indica 'Monow') is a shrub for pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, hedges, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows fast and forms a dense shape with white blooms from early to late summer and again in early autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Blue wild indigo, and Little bluestem.
