Notes

'Moon Fritters' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Moon Fritters') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The high crowned white blooms look frittery and have red and green striped sepals with red pistils. Each strong stem grows about 30 inches tall and carries one to three buds. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Ostrich fern, Garlic chives, and Black chokeberry.
