Notes
'Moonlight' Japanese hydrangea vine (Hydrangea hydrangeoides 'Moonlight') is a vine for shade gardens, privacy screens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil. It climbs slowly, so give it time to fill its support. Fragrant flowers open from early to late summer. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Nelly Moser clematis, Autumn fern, and Japanese forest grass.
