Notes

'Morald' peony (Paeonia 'Morald') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double, purplish pink flowers are fragrant and attract bees and butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Michael Miely bred it in 2017.

Pairs well with Fragrant Bouquet hosta, Moonshine yarrow, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
