Notes

'Morning Makeup' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Morning Makeup') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flower gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Late blooming double flowers open light pink with a slightly darker pink center. The plant grows upright to about 32 inches, so it needs no support.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Picture tulip, Christmas fern, and Hummingbird sweet pepperbush.
