Notes
'Morris' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Morris') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are double, so each bloom has many layers of petals. Cut a few stems to bring the blooms indoors. Burdin bred it.
Pairs well with Praying Hands hosta, Black Parrot tulip, and Prairie dropseed.
