Notes
'Mrs. Deane Funk' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mrs. Deane Funk') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double flowers are large, rose petalled, and light pink. A row of golden stamens lights up each bloom, and the flowers are fragrant. Archie M. Brand bred it.
Pairs well with Switchgrass, Garlic chives, and Orange lily.
