Notes
'Mrs. Waite' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mrs. Waite') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double blooms are light pink and make a soft show in the garden. Cut a few stems for a vase when the buds open. H.A. Terry bred it.
Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Arizona Sun blanket flower, and Pink Impression tulip.
