Notes

'Multi Blue' clematis (Clematis 'Multi Blue') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The double blue flowers have white tips and can rebloom from June to September. It climbs 6 to 9 feet tall, and J. Bouter and Zoon bred it as a sport of 'The President'. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Beauty of Cobham spotted beebalm, Black-eyed Susan, and Incrediball hydrangea.
