Notes
'Multiplex' dropwort (Filipendula vulgaris 'Multiplex') is a perennial for naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. Creamy white flowers open in mid to late spring on plants that stay 12 to 18 inches tall and wide. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is drought tolerant, so it suits dry spots.
Pairs well with Cat's Pajamas nepeta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Ice Follies daffodil.
