Notes

'My Friend' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'My Friend') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant pink flowers are full double blooms about 6 inches wide. Each stem carries an average of three flowers, and the tops of the blooms rise to 30 inches. Nicolas J. Friend bred it, and Adelman Peony Gardens introduced it in 2013.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Spanish bluebell, and Knapweed.
