Notes

'My Own' peony (Paeonia 'My Own') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its sturdy stems reach about 33 inches and hold single red flowers that smell sweet. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Carlton daffodil.
