Notes

'My Pal Rudy' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'My Pal Rudy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, fully double pink flowers open in early summer. The compact bush has stiff stems and rich foliage, and it stays under about 37 inches tall. Carl G. Klehm bred it in 1953.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Spanish bluebell, and Sensitive fern.
