'My Pet' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'My Pet') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are double, so each bloom has many layers of petals. Cut the stems for a bouquet, and the blooms will brighten a vase indoors. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Paprika yarrow, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
