Notes

'Myrtle Tischler' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Myrtle Tischler') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The deep rose pink blooms are full double and open into flat flowers 9 to 10 inches across. They sit on tall, strong stems above bright green foliage. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it.

Pairs well with Pussytoes, Foxtail barley, Sensitive fern, and Carlton daffodil.
