Notes
'Nadia' peony (Paeonia 'Nadia') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The fragrant pink and cream blooms open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and they draw butterflies and bees. Akimov bred it, and A.P. Saunders introduced it in 1941.
Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Limelight hydrangea.
