Notes

'Nancy Bonner' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Nancy Bonner') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The light pink double blooms are fragrant and open in mid to late spring. Five V-shaped red wedges on the central edges form a butterfly pattern. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Picture tulip, and White trillium.
