Notes

'Nancy Nora' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Nancy Nora') is a perennial for borders, cutting gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). Rose type blooms open in mid to late spring and early summer, and they are fragrant. The plant grows in a medium, upright form up to 31 inches tall, and its dark foliage looks good after the flowers fade. John Bernstein bred it from Walter Faxon and Lady Alexandra Duff.

Pairs well with Francee hosta, Purrsian Blue nepeta, Picture tulip, and Sensitive fern.
