Notes

'Nanho Blue' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Nanho Blue') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching stems carry fragrant mauve blue flowers that draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows fast, so give it room to reach 5 feet wide.

Pairs well with Ornamental onion, Creeping thyme, and Black Baccara rose.
