Notes

'Nanho Purple' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Nanho Purple') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant lavender-purple blooms open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and they draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It grows fast, so give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Rock rose, Ornamental onion, and Creeping thyme.
