Notes

'Narumigata' camellia (Camellia sasanqua 'Narumigata') is a shrub for hedges, privacy screens, borders, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It has an arching shape and grows at a rapid rate. Fragrant flowers open in autumn and again in winter, and bees visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Strawberry tree, Spurge, and Carolina jessamine.
