Notes

'Nectar of the Gods' peony (Paeonia 'Nectar of the Gods') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Semi-double carmine-pink flowers open in early to late spring and fade to light pink. Joshua Scholten bred it. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Liberty hosta, and Blue grama.
