Notes
'Negronne' fig (Ficus carica 'Negronne') is a fruit plant for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun. It is a naturally dwarf fig that grows 8 to 10 feet tall in the ground. It stays smaller in a pot, so it suits small and tight spaces. The fruit has near-black, deep purple skin and sweet, dark red flesh.
Pairs well with Artichoke, Persimmon, Society garlic, and Black chokeberry.
