Notes
'Neko-wat' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Neko-wat') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single flowers are red and white and open in early to mid spring. The plant stays medium size and compact, so it fits well near the front of a bed.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Sedge, Black Hero tulip, and Hairy aster.
