Notes

'Nelda’s Joy' peony (Paeonia 'Nelda’s Joy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Each strong stem holds one fragrant, six-inch, light shell pink flower that is semi-double to double. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, and Carlton daffodil.
