Notes

Nightcaps (Anemone quinquefolia) is a perennial for woodland gardens, borders, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early spring and often forms sizable stands on woodland borders. The plant disappears after blooming, so pair it with leafy neighbors to fill the space.

Pairs well with Regal Splendor hosta, White phlox, and Autumn crocus.
