Notes
'Regal Splendor' hosta (Hosta 'Regal Splendor') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It has variegated leaves and lavender blooms, and the flowers are fragrant. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Vision in PInk Chinese astilbe, Solomon's seal, and Evergold sedge.
