Notes

'Niobe of the Voreni' peony (Paeonia 'Niobe of the Voreni') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double red flowers face upward and have frilled guard petals. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its upright stems stand on their own, so you do not need to stake them.

Pairs well with Stained Glass hosta, Picture tulip, and Little bluestem.
