Notes

'Nobilissima Femina' peony (Paeonia 'Nobilissima Femina') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant pink semi-double flowers have ruffled guard petals and lighter pink edges, and the upright plants need no support. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, Black Hero tulip, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta.
