Notes
'Nong Xian Jie Yue' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Nong Xian Jie Yue') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, light pink, semi-double flowers open in mid to late spring and face upward. The finely cut green foliage has purple margins and emerges purple-red. It grows upright to about 28 inches tall.
Pairs well with Blue fescue, Cinnamon fern, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Lupine.
