'Nong Yuan Die Yu' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Nong Yuan Die Yu') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant white double flowers open in early to mid spring. The heavily frilled petals have a hint of pink deep inside. It does not need staking.
Pairs well with Meadowsweet, Blue fescue, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Cinnamon fern.
