Notes

'Nong Yuan Mai Xiang' peony (Paeonia 'Nong Yuan Mai Xiang') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant flowers open dark orange-yellow and fade to light yellow. Each stem carries one up-facing bloom about 4 inches wide. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with False indigo, Blue fescue, and Lily.
