Notes
'Nong Yuan Yu Guan' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Nong Yuan Yu Guan') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, fully double white flowers open in mid to late spring. Blush-pink centers give each bloom a soft pink glow. It grows upright and does not need support.
Pairs well with Siberian iris, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Polish Spirit clematis.
