Notes
'Oboki' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Oboki') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The Japanese type flowers are rosy red and make a bold show in the garden. Cut a few stems to bring the color indoors. Pfeiffer Nursery bred it.
Pairs well with Indian grass, Limelight hydrangea, and Blanket flower.
