Notes

'Odd Ball' peony (Paeonia 'Odd Ball') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its big, double, pink flowers are fragrant, nod on stems about 30 inches tall, and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Stargazer lily, Polish Spirit clematis, and Western sword fern.
