Notes
'Old Mexico' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Old Mexico') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. It grows fast and stands upright, reaching 12 to 24 inches tall. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Cotton Candy cosmos, Sylphid celosia, and Hollyhock.
