Notes

'Oliver Twist' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Oliver Twist') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is a Japanese type with pink guard petals and a central cluster of fine, light pink petals. The staminodes curl and twist like the hair of a curly headed boy. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, False Solomon's seal, Switchgrass, and Garlic chives.
