Notes
'Olympus' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Olympus') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large soft pink blooms reach 8 inches across and have ruffled, crinkled petals with maroon flares. The flowers sit upward and evenly above the plant. Nate Bremer bred it in 2022.
Pairs well with Little Lime panicle hydrangea, Toad lily, and Blue grama.
