Notes

'One Grand' peony (Paeonia 'One Grand') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It forms a short, bushy, dense mound of large, fragrant, deep pink double blooms that attract butterflies and bees. William Henry Krekler bred it in 1978.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Nodding onion, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Polish Spirit clematis.
