Notes

Orange ball tree (Buddleja globosa) is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant orange-yellow blooms open in early to late summer and draw butterflies and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows 10 to 15 feet tall with a dense habit, so give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Smoketree, Jackmanii clematis, Ornamental onion, and Christmas fern.
