Notes

'Orkney Cherry' crane's-bill (Geranium 'Orkney Cherry') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Pink flowers with white throats open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Blue Mouse Ears hosta, and Eden rose.
