Notes

Ornamental onion (Allium caesium) is a bulb for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and the fragrant flowers attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with May Night salvia, Perennial candytuft, and Black Parrot tulip.
