Notes
'Osakazuki' Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Osakazuki') is a tree for specimen planting, borders, containers, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows slowly into a broad shape and shows fall color, and bees and birds visit it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It tolerates drought, so plant it where its shape has room to spread.
Pairs well with Primrose, Bracken, Incrediball hydrangea, and Casa Blanca lily.
